This Article details how Wilson left it up to the Kaiser to surrender and give way to peace, and it highlights the ideas which he hoped to present at the peace conference, and of course these would later be referred to as Wilson's Fourteen Points, including the much-discussed League of Nations. This shows that even months before peace had been reached, people had been alerted about the possibility of it and the coming conference, as well as the ideas that would be presented there.
