"Fighting the Kaiser with Stamps." Plain Dealer 2 Jan. 1918: 10. NewsBank. Web. 19 May 2016.
This article details how the government has called on the people to raise money in order to support the war effort, and they plan to do this by selling war bonds and stamps to help show patriotism. In order to guarantee that those who take out loans will be repaid, the government has promised to fully repay them all by June 1, 1923. Also helping with sales is the fact that they use anti-german feelings to sell them, saying that by buying bonds, they are fighting the German Kaiser
