This article describes the problem of a lack of war bond sales. The article describes that though the rich and the poor are buying bonds, the middle "class" is not, although the article claims that America is a classless society. The article argues the benefits for the country and for the buyer when an American buys a liberty bond. A liberty loan would be used to buy weapons, food and supplies for the troops at war.
