"Fire Hits War Plants Patterns Worth $20,000 Destroyed at Canton." Plain Dealer 18 Jul. 1918: 2. NewsBank. Web. 17 May 2016.
In Canton, a fire broke out that destroyed about $20,000 worth of patterns and molds. The firemen that came did their best to save all that they could from this mishap. All during the same day, three fires broke out at manufacturing plants which is quite peculiar, with two of them being at the steel foundry plant. This happened a multitude of times that it almost seems premeditated or planned.
